Bedford Built came to us for the stairs on their Yarrabilba build, with the need for 37 sets of stairs across the site. Every one was pre-engineered, packed flat and delivered for install, so the crews on the ground could work straight through them without waiting on fabrication.
The brief was a detailed one. Bedford and their architect had specific requirements for how the stairs were finished, and a couple of things had to match that exactly. We ran custom nosing the full width of every tread, and switched the tread bolts to countersunk so the finish sat clean and flush. We made sure none of these changes held the job up, taking advantage of our productized system to simply adjust the same stair system we build every time, to suit what this site asked for.
From there the project was straightforward. 37 stair sets were installed smoothly and on time, and Bedford got a premium result without having to coordinate it themselves.
