Installing Swing Gates
This video outlines the process of installing a swing gate using the standard COMPACKED method. The swing-over arms and panels are assembled with M12 bolts and washers, and fittings are slid onto the longer pivoting posts. These posts are connected to the gate arms and guided by O-ring fittings to ensure smooth swinging. Safety railings are cut to size and secured, along with gate posts fixed to the floor. A gas strut is fitted on both sides, and the final panel is added. The installation concludes with attaching a warning sign and hand strap for safety and usability.

In this chapter, we’re installing the swing gate using the standard compact process.
First, assemble the swing over arms with the swing over panels.
Bolt these together with M12 x fifty six millimeter bolts, including washers.
Next, slide the required fittings onto the two longer posts.
The last fitting will sit on the top of the post. The gate will pivot from this point.
Position the pivoting posts, and connect them to the gate arms.
Then, slide on the O ring fittings.
These act act as a guide for the gate to swing freely and prevents the gate pivot point from sliding out. Next, we need to install the safety railing.
Cut the railing to length and secure the posts to the floor.
Attach required fittings for positioning the gate in the opening.
Secure the gate posts to the floor.
Fit the gas strut to either side of the gate and add the last panel piece.
Finally, attach the warning sign and hand strap.
